Hey Ami thanks!- and thanks to Eric and John for the props.
I know it is pretty stock. Until last year when I found good ol' PH (when I was trying to install a tach after driving it for 6 years without one) I had done nothing to it except drive it and wash it.
Now that I see all the potential, (even for the 4-doors) I am excited about doing stuff to it, and the engine swap..yahooo!!
The car still runs pretty strong (for a d15 with 183,000 miles - lol) the original owner was a female who traded it in to the dealer for an Accord I think at 63K miles.
I just recently went on a Shenendoah National Park Tour and got 38.6 mpg...and I was driving like a road race on the mountain road every chance I got![]()
Mods to date on my '91 DX: A detailed list (some of your may remember these discussions from PH-- hope you don't mind me posting them again.....
Double squirter on both windshield washers
Repainted wiper arms (twice, Eric)
Some weird crappy orange wires from a Honda dealer
Trailer Hitch (who needs a pickup to haul stuff?)
Stock Honda Clock to replace the boring blank plate
Took out the goofy orange things in turn signals
Right hand mirror from LX
Kenwood KDC-5011 CD player with JBL(rear) & Kenwood(front) 6.5" speakers.
Pilot 100w fog lights
Sunpro Mini Tach mounted on A-pillar with supplied bracket..anyone using A-pillar gauge pods on 4-doors? I would really like something more integrated.
AEM CAI
Old wheel covers - 96-97 Accord knock-offs from Target
New wheel covers - (top pic is more recent), 6gen Civic knock-offs from Target
As for my list of to do's here goes:
Remove pinstriping - yuck!!
clear corners - (maybe - I am gonna try them)
ZC Swap! (how's the b16 comin' John??...hurry up before I spend my savings on something else!!)
Short Shifter
Wish List:
Thermal R&D Exhaust (just like 91zc's)
6th gen Si wheels or 5-spoke GSR wheels
Upgraded seats (Integra or Si) - the DXs are pretty soft and blah....
Maybe a mild drop (1.5"???)
Paint - same color (Charcoal Grey) or the nice dark blue pearl available on the new Civics & Accords - yummy....
Did I forget anything?
Keep up the good work on the 4gens and keep 'em rolling everyone!!

I have decided to pull the zc about a week before christmas since my brother and the guy that is helping me won't be available until then. But shawn it is all yours once it is pulled. I have not advertised the motor anywhere since I have a prospective buyer. I am getting really impatient though. I have started to buy the small stuff that I need for the swap from the dealer around me. I still need a clutch, and the stuff from Hasport...mounts, linkage, wiring sub-harness. It is a daily driver so I can't just pull the motor and take a few weeks to install the b16...I really need to it in one shot.

- And oh yeah...if I lower it too much Jason, I might drag the trailer hitch on the road...it is mounted below the tow loop (and to it) just under the license plate..the stupid thing hangs down there..but maybe I'll move it up on the list a little just for you - how about 1.5" drop in the rear and a 1.75" drop in the front?
And thanks John for hosting my pics for me, I forgot to thank you in my previous replies.
Peace Out!
